Registration of foreigners in the State Migration Service  

(SMSU authorization)

Lion's Mark Law Company provides the services of registering the foreigners in the State Migration Service of Ukraine (SMSU) previously known as OVIR and UGIRFL.

The foreigners and persons without citizenship who arrived in Ukraine on legal grounds can temporarily stay in the country on the ground of passport documents registered in accordance with the Rules of entry for foreigners and stateless persons to Ukraine, their departure from Ukraine and transit through its territory.

INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Thus, only in this case it is possible to get a work permit for foreign citizen in Ukraine officially.

Documents required for registering the foreigner (private entry):

1. An application from a foreigner.
   
2. 2 photos of a foreigner (3,5 on 4,5 cm).
   
3. Original and copy of the foreigner's passport with notarized translation.
   
4. Original and copy of immigration card - if any.
   
5. A notarized copy of lease contract with a foreigner's name confirmed by Housing Office or a notarized statement of an individual acting as a host party.
   
6. A copy of medical insurance policy for a period of stay in the territory of Ukraine (not necessary for the citizens of the Republic of Belarus).
   
7. Receipt confirming the payment of the state fees.
8. Receipt confirming the payment for SMSU services.
   

Documents required for registering the foreigner (work permit entry):

1. An application from a host party (legal entity).
   
2. 2 photos of a foreigner (3,5 on 4,5 cm).
3. Copy of the work permit, certified by company.
4. Copy of the registration certificate of the host party, certified by company.
5. An application from a foreigner.
6. Copy of the registration card of the enterprise from State Migration Service (OVIR).
   
7. Original and copy of the foreigner's passport with notarized translation.
   
8. Original and copy of immigration card - if any.
   
9. A notarized copy of lease contract with a foreigner's name confirmed by Housing Office. If the premises belongs to the enterprise - the documents confirming the property right.
   
10. Receipt confirming the payment of the state fees.
11. Receipt confirming the payment for SMSU services.
