Drafting the Statement of Claim, Complaint

According to the Civil Procedural Code of Ukraine, a statement of claim shall correspond to the prescribed form. Failure to observe this rule entails the return of the applicant's claim. Requirements for drafting the statement of claim are set in the article 119 of the Civil Procedural Code of Ukraine.

The statement of claim shall contain:

• name of the court where the claim is filed to;

• the value of the lawsuit with respect to claims of a pecuniary character;

• an indication of supporting evidence for each circumstance, the existence of grounds for exemption from proof;
  
• a list of documents attached to the application.
  

Documents confirming the payment of court fees and payment of costs for information and technical support of the case (original payment order) must also be attached to the statement of claim.
