Transport License

---

Lion's Mark Law Company provides the services of obtaining the Transprot License in Kyiv and in other cities of Ukraine.

According to the Law of Ukraine "On automobile transport" the licensing in automobile transport aims to determine the initial and current conditions of service for passengers and cargo, as well as the most important parameters of customer service.

License for transportation grants the right to carry out international transportation, domestic cargo and passenger transportation using the vehicles declared.

License is intended for business activity of providing the services of cargo and passenger transportation for the following types of works:

• services of domestic transportation of passengers by bus;
  
• services of domestic transportation of passengers by cars on request;
  
• services of domestic transportation of passengers by taxi;
  
• services of domestic transportation of hazardous cargo by trucks, trailers, semitrailers.
  
• services of international transportation of passengers by bus;
  
• services of international transportation of passengers by cars on request;
  
• services of international transportation of passengers by taxi;
  
• services of international transportation of hazardous cargo by trucks, trailers, semitrailers.
  

For obtaining the transport license, it is necessary to submit the following documents:

For legal entities:

1. Notarized copies of founding documents:
   • Extract from the Unified State Register
     
   • Certificate from the State Statistics Service;
     
   • A copy of the order of appointment of the person in charge for the operation and health of vehicles and for the complience with licensing conditions;
     
   • Document confirming the relevant education of the person in charge for the operation and health of vehicles (for  enterprises).
     
2. Detailed information (signed by applicant) on
   • the availability of material and technical facilities required to maintain the proper technical condition of vehicles and for technical inspection of cars;
     
   • the provision of medical examination of drivers or the copies of relevant contracts for the same in case of absence of its own resources and experts.
     
3. The list of own and leased vehicles for provision of the services of domestic transportation of passengers and cargo and of relevant international transportation indicating the following details:
   • vehicle type
   • make and model
   • license plate number
   • gross weight and passenger capacity
   • year of manufacture
   • series and number of the certificate of title for a vehicle or of the temporary registration card issued by the State Automobile Inspectorate
4. Copies of documents for vehicle (signed by applicant):
   • certificate of title (for own vehicles), temporary registration cards (for leased vehicles) (up to 10 items);
     
   • certificate of conformity for a vehicle (if any) or a test report from an accredited laboratory;
     
   • vehicle inspection certificate;
5. Copies of documents relating to the hired drivers (signed by applicant):
   • a list of drivers for each vehicle;
   • driving licenses with relevant categories;
     
   • medical examination certificates (Form 083/O) or medical cards.
     
6. Insurance polices confirming the presence of all required types of compulsory insurance (copies certified by notary or by insurance company):
   • civil liability of vehicle owners;
     
   • drivers' accident insurance
7. Certificate confirming that the applicant has no debts to the budget, Pension fund and no arrears of salaries.
   

For individual entrepreneurs:

1. a copy of the certificate from the State Tax Authority confirming employment relationships or the labor contracts (certified by the State Employment Center);
2. certificates of completion for the hazardous cargo transportation course for drivers in case of rolling stock usage (a copy certified by notary public or by issuing body).
   
3. certificates of completion for the international transportation course for drivers issued by the institutes accredited by the Ministry of Transport (for services of international transportation of passengers and cargo).
   
4. Insurance polices confirming the presence of all required types of compulsory insurance (copies certified by notary or by insurance company):
   • civil liability of vehicle owners;
     
   • drivers' accident insurance
5. Certificate confirming that the applicant has no debts to the budget, Pension fund and no arrears of salaries.
   

Services of obtaining the transport license include:
