License for Fire-Prevention Activities

Lion's Mark Law Company provides the services of obtaining the License for Fire-Prevention Activities issued by the State Inspectorate for Fire Safety (SIFS).

According to the Law of Ukraine "On Fire Safety", business activity in provision of fire-prevention services and performance of relevant operations shall be carried out under the license of SIFS on fire-prevention activities.

Types of operations performed as the fire-prevention activities:

1. System design for fire extinguishing (water, foam, gas, powder, aerosol), fire alarm, fire alarm and evacuation management, smoke protection, alarm annunciators, lightning protection devices.
   
2. Installation and maintenance of fire extinguishing systems (water, foam, gas, powder, aerosol).
   
3. Installation of systems for fire alarm, fire alarm and evacuation management, alarm annunciators.
   
4. Maintenance of systems for fire alarm, fire alarm and evacuation management.
   
5. Installation, maintenance work on smoke protection systems.
   
6. Automatic fire fighting equipment monitoring.
   
7. Maintenance of primary fire extinguishing equipment (water, water and foam, powder, gas fire extinguishers, fire hose cabinets).
   
8. Installation, check (inspection) of lightning protection devices.
   
9. Installation of gates, doors, windows, hatches, curtains (screens), certified fireproof valves.
   
10. Fireproof treatment and fireproof impregnation.
    
11. Fireproof coating (painting, plastering, wrapping and casing).
    
12. Fire retardant filling.
    
13. Repair, cleaning and inspection (testing) of stoves, fireplaces, flues (chimneys).
    
14. Assessment of fire safety conditions.
    

To operate on sites with high-risk, a licensee is obliged to have relevant experience (irrespective of the risk level of facilities where the operations took place): the head is required to have at least 5-year experince and the total number of personnel should be doubled.

For obtaining the License for Fire-Prevention Activities, it is necessary to submit the following documents:

1. Standard application form;
   
2. Extract from USR; - (notarized copy)
   
3. Certificate from the State Statistics Service; - (notarized copy)
   
4. Articles of Association; - (notarized copy)
   
5. Title (ownership cert.) / Lease contract for premises and equipment (a copy signed and sealed by the head);
   
6. Certificate of conformity for material and technical facilities and experts certified by the local Fire Department;
   
7. Degrees and qualification certificates of experts, special training sertificates, work record cards; - (signed and sealed by the head)
   
8. Certficates of labour protection training required for the relevant types of activities under the Licensing conditions; - (notarized copies)
   
9. Documentation on technical specifications, operating procedures, regulations (copies sealed and signed by the headl);
   
10. Power of Attorney to act on your behalf.

Services of obtaining the License for Fire-Prevention Activities include:
